Rest up after a long adventure in the durable but lightweight CampBoss® Ultra X 1.4 Roof Top Tent! The Ultra X is CampBoss’s most innovative and luxurious roof top tent, which is also why it's their bestseller. It might look slim on the outside, but it opens up to an ultra-spacious interior allowing you to sleep whichever direction you want, unlike most other hard-shell tents.
Save your energy for fishing because setting up a roof top tent has never been easier. Once the Ultra X is unclipped, the gas struts and scissor lift take over the unpacking. It comes with an upgraded ladder with wider 7cm rungs to give you a solid footing when you’re climbing up after a long drive. Once in the tent, you’ll notice the walls are made from durable 280g polyester and a tough 300g black-coated polyester base. An easy to set up awning surrounds the large opening of the tent to give you good coverage from both the sun and the rain. Store all your shoes off the ground and out of the rain in the large clip up shoe bag.
The tent has a super slim packed height of just 17cm with integrated roof racks, which are perfect if you want to store that bit extra on your trip. Store solar panels, bikes, kayaks or some spare 4x4 gear up to 30kg. The roof racks are removable from the top of the tent if you don’t need the extra space, reducing the packed height to just 15cm. With the use of aluminum honeycomb, the top and base remain rigid but also lightweight. If you accidentally run into some small tree branches, fear not as the hard shell is scratch resistant and waterproof gel coated. It’s easy to install too, with a mounting kit that can adapt to many setups so you’re ready for any adventure.
The tent comes with a 50mm luxury-coated memory foam mattress, supported by the condensation mat for moisture control and a little bit of extra comfort. Even with its slim profile, the Ultra X opens up to a spacious sleeping experience. We know it gets hot downunder, which is why all 6 windows have midge-proof mesh, allowing you to stay cool while keeping the bugs out.
To keep your devices charged, this roof top tent is equipped with 2 USB ports, a cigarette socket, and a voltage monitor. Be able to see late into the night with the included three full length dimmable Swift White LED strip lights on the ceiling. Next to the lights are the roof organizer pockets. These can be used to store things you might need quick access to such as your keys or a bag of chips. The center pocket is lined with plastic to store your device for a hands-free movie night.
